These Are The Best Deals During Steam Lunar New Year Sale
Turns out Valve is in a festive Lunar New Year mood this year; the company has just launched its Steam platform Lunar New Year Sale today. It’ll go on until 12 February, 2am.
To sweeten the deal, users will get RM10 off their first purchase of RM60 or more. With that said, here are our favourite picks to tide you over if you’re diligent enough to book holiday leave for the entire week:
Need a hardcore dark fantasy RPG fix? The third Dark Souls game is going for RM72; you get both the original game and the Season Pass which features a few extra levels and content in case you thought the original wasn’t soul-crushing enough.
This Square Enix adventure game features two brothers on a lam while attempting to conceal a sudden & mysterious supernatural power. Any sequel to Life Is Strange is always a plus in our book. This deal will cost you RM13.Â
One of 2016’s best turn-based strategy games is getting a major discount. If you haven’t felt what it’s like to miss a 99% accurate shot when under pressure against a superior alien force, now’s a good time as any. That’ll be RM47.50.
Last year’s open world shooter darling featuring doomsday cultists and our favourite AI companions is getting a mega-sale. The whole PC package will cost you RM52.25.
Team17’s current shot at relevance is going strong with its zany multiplayer co-op indie title. It’s going for RM33 now.
The 3D fighting game is still going strong since it’s now in its 2nd season. Yes, you still have to pay separately for the Season 2 pass (RM89), but at least you can still have fun with the base roster and the tutorial/story mode/other stuff for RM74.50.
Most of the real-time strategy titles in Creative Assembly’s line of historical and fantasy settings are currently going for less than RM50 each. Some of the newer titles may be a bit more expensive but they’re still great deals.
Fancy subjugating the Roman Empire at its peak, play Total War: Attila. If you’re a fan of Vikings like me, the more recent Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia would be a great choice. Feel like reuniting Japan under one banner, and you can’t go wrong with Total War: Shogun 2. Want to command giant trolls and legions of orcs, then Total War: Warhammer 2 is the game for you.
Here are several recommended Total War titles:
The most recent title in the Assassin’s Creed franchise is already selling at half its original price after just four months since its initial launch. In our review, we stated that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey improved on almost everything from its predecessor, 2017’s Assassin’s Creed Origins, as well as re-introducing naval combat as a core mechanic and more. Your gateway to a mythical Greek world is currently going for RM104.50.
Why the hell haven’t you bought the definitive version of 2015’s Game of The Year? You really should since it has it all: a great main hero, a lovely cast of characters, a ton of women to fornicate with a gripping tale, and awesome action and a plethora of sidequests.
We’ll add more deals as the week goes by. Be sure to tune here every day for our top picks!Â
