Dr. Mario World Is Coming To Mobile Devices Next Month

Nintendo has announced that Dr. Mario World will be launching for Android and iOS mobile devices next month on 10 July 2019. It is set to be a free-to-play game but will include in-app purchases like capsules to replenish the player’s stamina meter to continue playing without having to wait, and other in-game items.

Dr. Mario World is basically a mobile version of the original 1990 action puzzle game, where players have to match capsules with viruses in the form of falling blocks, similar to titles like Tetris.

According to the official website, there will be “hundreds of stages over many different worlds need saving, with new worlds coming on a regular basis”, but only five at launch. There will also be a versus mode, where players can face off against other players in 1v1 matches.

In the meantime, check out the trailer below.
