Ahead of its slated premiere in two weeks, Netflix has released the final trailer for Stranger Things Season 3, showcasing more action and higher stakes than ever before. The sleepy town of Hawkins will once again be thrust into chaos and the kids will need to work together again to defeat this new threat.
The entire gang returns, with Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Max (Sadie Sink), Will (Noah Schnapp) and Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) a little bit older than we last saw them in Stranger Things Season 2.
In the trailer, Mike even says:
“No matter what happens, we have to stop him together,â€
The trailer ends with all the kids cowering behind counters and cars in the mal, hiding from an unseen new monster angrily growling in the distance. Can this new monster be even scarier than the Demogorgon?
The official description for Stranger Things Season 3 is as follows:
It’s 1985 in Hawkins, Indiana, and summer’s heating up. School’s out, there’s a brand new mall in town, and the Hawkins crew are on the cusp of adulthood.
Romance blossoms and complicates the group’s dynamic, and they’ll have to figure out how to grow up without growing apart. Meanwhile, danger looms.
When the town’s threatened by enemies old and new, Eleven and her friends are reminded that evil never ends; it evolves.
Now they’ll have to band together to survive, and remember that friendship is always stronger than fear.
Here are the titles for all eight episodes in Stranger Things Season 3:
