12. Shaq (Shaq Fu)

As terrible as the game was, you can’t deny that having one of the greatest basketball stars of all time star in his own fighting game was one of the coolest things that could have possibly happened in the ’90s.

The game is so bad you can barely call it a fighting game, but perhaps that’s what makes it worthy of attention. You get to see a 2D sprite of Shaq fight monsters and martial artists, and that’s just special in and of itself.

At the very least, there was some love put into his sprites and animation, which is more than what I can say about the recent Shaq Fu beat-em-up last year.
