Activision and Infinity Ward revealed the all-new Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer universe with a new trailer, as well as the beta release dates for the upcoming game. It looks like this one will be a game-changer with its new gameplay mechanics and a new engine which allows for more realistic visuals.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer will feature quick-action, close-quarters 2v2 experiences in Gunfight mode, traditional 6v6 mode, 10v10/20v20 firefights, and the all-new Ground War mode; an epic large-scale mode supporting more than a whopping 100 players.

There will be an exclusive Call Of Duty Modern Warfare open beta for PS4 players from 13 to 16 September 2019. However, other players can participate in the open beta later in the same month, which aims to test the game’s cross-play capabilities:

• 20 – 21 September 2019 (Early Access subscription required for PC and Xbox One players / Open Beta for PS4 players)
• 22 – 23 September 2019 (Open Beta for all players on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC)

Infinity Ward Multiplayer Gameplay Director Geoff Smith said:

“Our studio goal for Modern Warfare was to create a completely new experience and the most varied, customizable and realistic-feeling Call of Duty multiplayer.

Our design goal is for gamers to have fun by playing again and again with their friends, where the action will feel fresh, but also familiar for all players every time they jump in.”
