Street Fighter V’s EVO 2019 Grand Finals Went Just As Expected

Street Fighter V‘s most dominant characters this season, Rashid and Karin, were used to full effect in EVO 2019’s Grand Finals.

With Adel “Bigbird” Anouche and Masato “Bonchan” Takahashi defeating everyone in their respective paths, SFV fans get to see many “Perfect” matches involving the game’s most offense-heavy characters.

There can only be one winner, and Bonchan took it with the awesome set that highlighter Karin’s Season 4 buffs. Coupled with his side Sagat pick (he was THE Sagat player back in the day), he had his matchups sorted. The last time the Japanese player placed high in an EVO tournament was back in 2014 in Ultra Street Fighter IV.

  1. RB|Bonchan (Karin, Sagat)
  2. NASR|BigBird (Rashid)
  3.  CYG|Infexious (Zeku)
  4. FD|Fujimura (Ibuki)
  5. YOG|Machabo (Necalli)
  6. iDom (Laura)
  7. ALUS|Yang Mian (Zeku)
  8. AZ|Kichipa-mu (Zangief)

Aside: Malaysia’s top SFV player Quan “IamChuan”Ban Chuan, who sports a mean Guile, is in the top 24 for this year’s EVO. Malaysia boleh!
