Capcom X ASICS = Mega Man Shoes To Die For

What do you get when you have one of Japan’s famous shoe brands teaming up with one of Japan’s most prolific video game publisher and developer? A pair of retro-esque blue sneakers worth killing 8 bosses living in themed levels for.

These pair of modified GEL-BND sneakers are clad in classic Mega Man/Rock Man shades of blue, complete with 8-bit ASICS stripes. It also comes with a box reminiscent of the original Rock Man Japanese box art and a sneaker bag with some 8-bit designs to remind you of the Blue Bomber. This is definitely something our resident Mega Man nut Mr Toffee would wear. 

The bad part? These kicks are Japan-exclusive; various shoe and sneaker outlets all across Japan will be selling these blue bombers starting 1st November. However, they will also be on sale in Tokyo’s Capcom store starting 22nd November, so if you have a pal or two heading down there around that time, perhaps you can ask him or her to sort you out. Perhaps you could also try your luck on the Capcom e-store.
