Life Is Strange 2 Is Getting A Physical Release Next Year

Square Enix and Dontnod Entertainment have announced that Life Is Strange 2 will be getting a physical release next year for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

There will be two editions of the physical release; Standard Edition and Collector’s Edition. The Standard Edition will only contain the Life is Strange 2 base game, Arcadia Bay Patches and a bonus game in the form of The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit. The Collector’s Edition will contain all of that and additional items such as a hardcover artbook, vinyl figurines, and a box.

Life Is Strange 2

The physical editions of Life Is Strange 2 is slated to release on 3 December 2019 in Europe and 4 February 2020 in the US. The developer explained that the reason for the bizarre delay of the US version is because “different countries have different requirements when it comes to rating the content on the discs”.

They are now available for pre-order on the official Square Enix website.
