Here’s What You’ll Need To Run Resident Evil 3 Remake On PC

The Resident Evil 3 Remake is scheduled to be released on 3 April 2020. Similar to the Resident Evil 2 Remake, the game will be running on the RE Engine. PC gamers can expect to run the game using relatively tame hardware.

The Steam store page for Resident Evil 3 Remake has been updated with a list of the system requirements for the game. For now, there’s only information on the minimum requirements. The recommended specs will be updated in the future.

Here’s what you’ll need to at least be able to play Resident Evil 3 Remake on your PC:

OS: Windows 7, 8.1, 10 (64-bit required)
Processor: Intel Core i5-4460 or AMD FX-6300 or better
RAM: 8GB
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon R7 260x with 2GB VRAM
DirectX: Version 11

Do keep in mind you’ll need a 64-bit processor and OS to play the game.

Judging by the trailers and gameplay footage shown thus far, it’s safe to assume that the game will perform just as well as Resident Evil 2 Remake. That’s great news because the RE Engine is really well optimised and won’t destroy most budget and mid-range setups.
