Witcher Anime In The Works By Legend Of Korra Team

Netflix’s The Witcher isn’t just a success. It’s on its way to becoming one of the most-watched first seasons in the streaming platform’s history. With that much positive reception, it’s only appropriate that the producers fully capitalise on the show.

Their next move isn’t just a regular spin-off, it’s going to be an anime film. To sweeten the deal even further, it will be done by Studio Mir who produced the beautifully animated Legend of Korra. It will be written by the same people who wrote the Netflix show, Lauren Hissrich and Beau DeMayo.

The title of the anime film? The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf.

That’s pretty much all we know for now so it’s safe to say the show was probably just greenlit very recently. Still, it’s some pretty exciting news for fans of the show and the video game series as it means we’ll be getting to see more of Geralt of Rivia’s adventures.
