Australian Twitch Streamer Uses Channel To Raise Awareness On Wildfires
By Burhanudin Zamri|January 3, 2020|0 Comment
In case you haven’t been paying attention, Australia is facing one of its worst disasters in history. Wildfires have consumed 12 million hectares of land and possibly killed half a billion animals. Needless to say, Australians are suffering immensely.
PaladinAmber, an Australian Twitch streamer, is taking things into her own hands. According to her, there’s been a notable lack of coverage on the issue in mainstream news. It also doesn’t help that Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison isn’t giving his people a lot of assurance.

Using her Twitch channel, Amber made an equally humourous and serious PSA about the wildfires. Aside from requesting for more people to raise awareness about the issue, she also wants donations to be given to brave Australian firefighters.
This isn’t the first time a Twitch streamer has used their platform to do good. A lot of charity streams have been done on the platform by many people. Just last month, American streamer Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo raised more than US$2 million to support a hospital that treats cancer-stricken children.

With more than 68,000 followers on Twitch and almost double that number on Twitter, Amber has a chance to make a difference. Here’s hoping that more people join her cause and do whatever they can to help Australia.
Thanks, Dexerto.
