Apex Legends’ Season 4 To Feature World’s Edge In Ruins And A Ton of New Stuff

The Sentinel Sniper Rifle

According to the PlayStation Blog, the Sentinel is a fast (for a sniper), accurate, and surgical allowing players to ‘remove your enemies from the battlefield with cold-blooded accuracy.’ Unlike other sniper rifles present in the game (save for the Care Package-only Kraber), the Sentinel is a bolt-action sniper rifle which is able to take out shields from a considerable range. Players can charge up their shots by consuming a shield battery from their inventory as well.

New Skins for Legends

As shown in the Season 4 trailer, Wraith & Co are getting spanking new skins which will add more variety to the already impressive list of legend skins in the game. We are obviously stoked for Wraith’s new ‘Perfect Soldier’ and Wattson’s ‘Cyberpunked’ skins. Not so hot for Lifeline’s one though.

Other notable skins featured in the trailer include an unnamed Crypto skin reminiscent of Wattson’s ‘Bionic Wonder’ skin. Not bad eh?

A New-ish Arena

Seems that Hammond Robotics’ ‘Planet Harvester’ fubared the planet and now World’s Edge we’ve grown accustomed to has been terraformed into an inhabitable wasteland – similar to what has become of King’s Canyon following Crypto’s introduction.

A new installation, the Planet Harvester now occupies the space between Sorting Factory, the Tree and Fuel Depot.

X marks the spot where we think the Planet Harvester is gonna be at.

Speaking of King’s Canyon, the OG map is back as a Ranked-mode only map during the second half of Season 4.
