Kojima Pays Homage To 1917 In Potential Death Stranding DLC Teaser
By Alleef Ashaari|February 20, 2020|0 Comment
Earlier today, Hideo Kojima posted a mysterious new teaser video on his official Twitter account. The brief video is less than a minute long, but it shows protagonist Sam Porter Bridges in a battlefield, trenches and running towards the camera in what is unabashedly a homage to Sam Mendes’ award-winning war movie, 1917.
Kojima’s post only comes with the caption; “Coming 2020”. It could mean one of two things. It probably refers to the upcoming PC version of Death Stranding, which is already slated to release sometime in summer 2020. However, it might also be teasing a potential new DLC content for Death Stranding instead.

Rumours are speculating that Death Stranding DLC will be announced, alongside the eventual reveal of the Death Stranding PC release date. A late 2019 tweet from Nicolas Winding Refn, the actor who played Heartman, also lends further credence to the idea of Death Stranding DLC.
