Here’s 12 Minutes Of Borderlands 3’s Guns, Love, and Tentacles DLC Gameplay

Borderlands 3‘s second chunk of DLC, Guns, Love, And Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock, will be available on 26 March 2020. While it’d be nice to have it earlier, especially with Malaysia’s upcoming two-week-long movement restrictions, we have 12 minutes of gameplay footage to watch in the meantime at least.

The footage has Borderlands 3 character Moze on the planet of Xylourgos, where she finds cultists and aliens instead of the party she was expecting. It’s pretty much more Borderlands 3, but with a wintry landscape and new Lovecraftian alien enemies to exterminate. There’s also an appearance from Borderlands 2 Mechromancer Gaige (and her robot buddy Deathtrap), who has ditched the Vault Hunter life to be a wedding planner.

It looks fun, basically. The DLC will centre on Jakob Wainwright and Sir Hammerlock’s engagement party and will bring new cosmetics, Legendary gear, and Class Mods as usual. I’ve never had an interest in farming loot or creating crazy builds in Borderlands, but with Borderlands 3‘s core gameplay being so satisfying, it’s nice to see more of it.
