Real-Time Strategy RPG The DioField Chronicle Marches To September
Square Enix and developer Lancarse has revealed the release date of its upcoming strategy RPG title The DioField Chronicle, which is giving out that Tactics Ogre kinda vibe upon first glance. It’s coming out on 22nd September for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch.
It’s a completely different kind of game, of course. The DioField Chronicle is dubbed a simulation RPG, where battles are real-time and commands are dished out by pausing the game and assigning them en masse. Basically like 13 Sentinels’ gaming portion, but with actual graphics. The game also has a diorama-style aesthetic to it, with the bloom effect you see when photographic miniatures as you see your army trample your foes.
