Worms Is Making A 2020 Comeback

Team17 teased a possible return to form for 2D puzzle games in the form of a Twitter post. Yes, it’s THE game that put the company on the map that involves carpet bombs, ill-timed bazooka aims, hookshots, Hadoukens, and exploding sheep.

Grab your Bazooka and jump on your Sheep, the Worms are back in 2020 like you’ve never seen them before.

Team17 announced that this 2020 version of Worms will be adding in new Worms, and new ways to play. More details will pop up later this year.

Let’s hope they keep the game 2D but add a new spin that isn’t too drastic. The last time the game went 3D, a lot of people were up in arms about it, Holy Hand Grenade and all.
