Remnant: From The Ashes Gets New DLC & Survival Mode

Last year’s looter shooter Remnant: From The Ashes is a pretty cool co-op game with escalating challenges that will remind players of RPGs like Dark Souls. Fans of the game should be thankful that developer Gunfire Games is still keeping the game alive and ticking with its upcoming DLC, “Swamps of Corsus”.

The new DLC will add a bunch of new content including a Survival Mode, which turns the game into a roguelike but in a third-person shooting perspective. Official description and trailer below:

“Those brave enough to take on this intense permadeath challenge will travel randomly through corrupted World Stones to different biomes seeking epic new rewards, all the while fighting to survive against insanely difficult bosses and enemies.”

The titular Corsus will be getting a revamp, including new dungeons, bosses, enemies, weapons, and mods. Getting this update will cost you US$10; it’ll be out 28th April.
