Yoodo FV Major 2020 Qualifier Dates Revealed

Malaysia fighting game organization Flash Vision are teaming up with Yoodo to launch the Yoodo FV Major Cup 2020. Its main draw? To give the best Street Fighter V and Tekken 7 players a chance to get sponsored to go to EVO 2021.

The Yoodo FV Major Cup will consist of 5 qualifiers and 1 grand final which will feature the top 8 competitors from the qualifiers. The tournament is only eligible to Malaysians. Furthermore, if you happen to win the entire tournament and get the EVO 2021 sponsorship, you have to represent team Yoodo FV for that particular event. You also cannot change your prize to cash.

The dates for the qualifiers are as follows:

  • Online tournament #1, 25th -26th April = champion will get direct entry to Grand Finals.
  • Online tournament #2, 30th-31st May = Champion direct entry to Grand Finals.
  • Geek Empire #1, 27th June = Top 2 direct entry to Grand Finals.
  • Geek Empire #2, 25th July = Top 2 direct entry to Grand Finals.
  • Epicenter, 22nd August = Top 2 direct entry to Grand Finals.

In addition, registration fees for the first online qualifiers this April will be donated to the National Zoo of Malaysia. You can register on this link here.
