New Superman Animated Movie Boasts An All-Star Cast

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has revealed new details about Superman: Man of Tomorrow, which will be next animated DC Universe Movie scheduled for release after Justice League Dark: Apokolips War premieres next week.

The new Superman: Man of Tomorrow animated movie will see Clark Kent working as an intern for the Daily Planet and learning on the job how to save the city of Metropolis, which means that this will be a young and inexperienced version of Superman.

Darren Criss (best known for his role as Blaine Anderson in the Glee TV series) will be voicing Clark Kent AKA Superman himself, while Zachary Quinto (best known for portraying Spock in the Star Trek reboot movies) will be voicing his nemesis, Lex Luthor.

The rest of the cast boasts even more star power too:

  • Alexandra Daddario as Lois Lane
  • Brett Dalton as Lobo
  • Ryan Hurst as Parasite
  • Ike Amadi as Martian Manhunter

Directed by Chris Palmer, the creative team for Superman: Man of Tomorrow also features screenwriter Tim Sheridan, and supervising producer Butch Lukic. It is slated to release sometime this summer on Digital and Blu-ray.
