Xbox Takes Shot At PlayStation Controller PS5 Incompatibility

Yesterday, Sony confirmed that the PS4 DualShock will not work with PS5 games, which has attracted the ire of some gamers. However, Xbox has taken advantage of the situation and fired a shot against their rival, as part of the next-gen console wars.

In a tweet on their official Xbox Twitter account earlier today, Xbox snarkily reminded everyone that the Xbox Series X will be compatible with all Xbox One controllers and all Xbox One games.

These include the standard Xbox One Controllers, the Xbox Adaptive Controller, and the premium Xbox Elite Wireless Controllers, as well as third-party Xbox One Controllers and headsets.

Say what you want about the Xbox not having many exclusives, but at least their level of accessibility is miles ahead of PlayStation at this point, especially with the Xbox Game Pass enabling every subscriber to play any Xbox game at any time.

The next-gen console war looks to be far more interesting than the current generation’s, which the PS4 has clearly dominated. Who knows who will win next? We’ll have to wait and see.

In the meantime, stay tuned on Kakuchopurei for all the latest news on the Xbox Series X, and check out all the latest updates and developments on all things Xbox to date here.
