This Upcoming Run & Gun Shooter Stars A Goose With Robot Arms, Of All Things
First it was Untitled Goose Game that brought the limelight to these flightless birds in video game form. Now we can add another title into the mix: Mighty Goose.
Made by Blastmode and MP2 Games & published by Playism, Mighty Goose is a 2D run and gun shooter with pixel graphics, tons of explosions, and a goose with robot arms who can fire guns and ride Metal Slug tributes all over enemies and corpses of varying nature. Think Contra and Gunstar Heroes but with a goose and his/her farm animal friends as satellites/options/assists.
Not only do you have a ton of crazy weapons, warmachines, and upgrades, but the game is also loaded with a crunchy synth-rock and funky jazz-fusion soundtrack by Dominic Ninmark (last year’s Blazing Chrome).
