Cyberpunk 2077 Gets Delayed… Yet Again

CD Projekt Red has announced that Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed for the umpteenth time; it is now slated to release for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Google Stadia on 10 December 2020.

That’s about a month or so after its previous release date of 19 November 2020. The developer cites problems arising from having to prepare over apparently nine different versions of the game while working from home.

The developer also recently announced that Cyberpunk 2077 has gone gold, which means that the game is essentially done and ready to be distributed into physical discs. However, as they pointed out in their message on Twitter, that doesn’t necessarily mean that development stops on the game once that happens.

It looks like CD Projekt Red will have even more time to hire more influencers and streamers to hype up their game. Kidding aside, let’s hope that this is the final time that the game gets delayed.

Look at the bright side, November 2020 will already be a busy and packed month for gamers; what with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and a bunch of other major games coming out. A little breather would save everyone a bit of money and spare time.
