Ubisoft Is Working On Fixing Next-Gen Upgrade Issue
By Alleef Ashaari|December 2, 2020|0 Comment
The PS5 has been out for several weeks now, but many players are still experiencing problems upgrading from the PS4 versions of Ubisoft games like Watch Dogs Legion and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
However, this issue is only affecting those who own physical copies of either game. The free upgrade fails when inserting the disc, despite the fact that they should be eligible. Players have been voicing out their frustrations on Twitter and Ubisoft’s official forums.
It is only now that the company has finally acknowledged the problem publicly for the first time. In a tweet earlier today, Ubisoft stated that it’s working to resolve the issue.
Unfortunately, there’s still no word on when a fix might arrive. In a similar case, it took Ubisoft two weeks to release a patch that finally resolved the corrupted saves issue that plagued Assassin’s Creed Valhalla since launch.
Let’s hope it’s sooner rather than later.
In the meantime, check out our full review of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla here, or head on over here for our guide on how to be the best Viking in the game.
