The Mandalorian Dark Troopers Are Getting The Hot Toys Treatment
By Alleef Ashaari|January 20, 2021|0 Comment
The Mandalorian Season 2 was one of the highlights of 2020’s TV offerings. There were many fan-pleasing moments in the series, but one of the biggest and most memorable aspects was the introduction of the Dark Troopers into official Star Wars canon. They looked deadly and menacing until they were ultimately cut down by a legendary Jedi Knight, that is.
The Star Wars The Mandalorian Dark Trooper 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure features a highly-detailed helmet and mechanical armour parts, specially-applied black armour painting, LED light-up functions, a blaster, and a display base. It’s a must-have for fans of the Dark Trooper, which originally appeared in the now-non-canon 1995’s Star Wars Dark Forces video game.
There’s no official price for the Dark Trooper Hot Toys figure yet, but it is slated to release sometime in Q2 or Q3 2022 (according to the official website). You can head on over here for our analysis of The Mandalorian Season 2 ending and post-credits scene, as well as what the future might hold for the series moving forward.
