Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint Launches Plant A Tree Initiative
By Alleef Ashaari|November 19, 2021|0 Comment
Ubisoft has announced that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will launch the Plant A Tree Initiative, which allows players to get involved in a reforestation initiative by planting a tree in-game, starting today until 20 December 2021.
During the initiative, for every tree planted, Ubisoft will give 0.15€ (or roughly RM0.70+), up to a maximum of 40,000€ (or roughly RM189,880+), to Ecologi, a social enterprise dedicated to funding climate projects with their tree-planting partners all over in the world.Â
Players who complete reforestation-themed riddles on the Ghost Recon Breakpoint website will uncover a location on Auroa where a tree can be planted in-game. The tree will grow, and players will earn a themed gear patch and “Gardener†title. The planted tree and rewards will remain in the game permanently, even after the event ends.Â
Players will also be able to purchase a limited-edition cosmetic ghillie suit, Snow Woods Ghillie Bundle, which includes a hood, top and pants, in the in-game store. For each Snow Woods Ghillie Bundle purchase, 5€ (or roughly RM23+) will be given to Ecologi, with no upper limit.Â
