Dr. Disrespect Opens New AAA Studio With Former Halo & Call Of Duty Devs
By Alleef Ashaari|December 27, 2021|0 Comment
Popular Twitch streamer Guy “Dr. Disrespect†Beahm has launched a new AAA studio called Midnight Society. He has teamed up with former Call Of Duty creative strategist Robert Bowling and Halo 5 multiplayer designer Quinn Delhoyo. They will also be working with esports entrepreneur Sumit Gupta.
Midnight Society is already working on its first title, which will be announced soon. The studio also launched an official website, Twitter account, and Discord. For those unfamiliar, Dr. Disrespect was a developer before he became a streamer. He was a level designer at Sledgehammer Games and helped create many of the multiplayer maps for Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare.
The studio aims to develop “the best, most community-focused online PVP multiplayer experience the world has ever seen”.
Speaking with PC Gamer, Dr. Disrespect said:
“As a long-time player, streamer, and former game developer myself, I’ve often dreamed of creating awesome titles that entire communities can get behind from day one.
My vision is to make games that defy the one-and-done publishing model and reward all those fans and influencers who make them a success.”
Back in 2020, Dr. Disrespect was permanently banned from Twitch. He has since returned to streaming on another platform, YouTube.
