Xbox Reveals Limited Edition Halo Infinite Riddell Master Chief Helmet
By Alleef Ashaari|December 18, 2021|0 Comment
To celebrate the iconic helmet and launch of Halo Infinite, Riddell and Xbox have teamed up to create a limited production, commemorative Master Chief-inspired helmet to celebrate the recent launch of the game.
Produced by football head protection manufacturer Riddell Sports, the commemorative Master Chief-inspired helmet design was created using Riddell’s SpeedFlex model featuring the Master Chief’s signature green Mjolnir armour colour with accents of grey metal and rubberized techsuit colours. Each helmet was weathered by hand using a custom multi-step painting technique specifically developed for this collaboration, making each helmet one-of-a-kind.
The commemorative helmet also features decals of Master Chief’s iconic Spartan number ‘117’ on the sides of the helmet, along with a special edition Halo ‘20-year anniversary’ decal on the back. Additional upgrades include a special SpeedFlex face mask SF-2EG-TX, a convert-to-black kit that includes black parts, face mask clips, front and back bumpers, custom painted strap-locs and valve caps, and a black hard cup chin strap.
The look is completed with an Oakley Pro Shield in Prizm 24k Iridium that closely mimics the visor on Master Chief’s helmet. However, keep in mind that the Master Chief inspired helmet is for display use only and is not designed or intended for actual play or use.
A select quantity of these commemorative SpeedFlex helmets is available for purchase at www.riddell.com as a part of the limited production celebration.
Fans will have the chance to win one of the five commemorative SpeedFlex helmets by retweeting the Halo Gear sweepstakes tweet — starting at 11pm GMT+8 on 17 December 2021 until 12pm GMT+8 on 31 December 2021. Most importantly, in order to enter, you must be a legal resident of any Xbox Live supported region (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/countries), and be 18 years of age or older.
