By Fitri Razif|January 14, 2022|0 Comment
Nacon and Eko Software have released their gameplay reveal trailer for Rugby 22, showing tactical gameplay along with other new features such as improved AI, new training modes and a new control system.
Rugby fans better huddle up and get ready for the next entry into the sports simulation series in Rugby 22. The new gameplay reveal shows off many of the new features coming to the game along with a look at the game’s graphics. The new entry promises intense tactical matches utilizing an entirely reworked control system.
Redesigned for an even more responsive and intuitive game experience, Rugby 22 integrates a new control system to play touches, rucks and mauls like a real oval ball professional. On top of that, Eko Software has further optimized the AI behaviour to adapt even better to the tactical choices of the players. Your players will position themselves and react in a more realistic way, while your opponents will make better choices to counter your game plans, allowing for more engaging matches even when playing by yourself.
Rugby 22 is expected to be the most stand out entry thanks to its overhauled control system.
This game is also being touted as their most complex with their new difficulty mode offering players a more solid opposition and a more difficult challenge once they have mastered the game. The trailer highlights the many modes available such as new training modes, the career mode and multiplayer, leaving many to do for players.
The presence of the Top 14, the Pro D2 and the United Rugby Championship is also confirmed. Rugby 22 integrates the vast majority of major national teams, with their players and official jerseys: New Zealand, Australia, France, Fiji, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Wales, Japan and Georgia to name a notable few.
Rugby 22 is set to release on 27 January 2022 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.
