Check Out PlayStation Productions’ New Intro; Debuts In Uncharted Movie

PlayStation just revealed its new PlayStation Productions animation that will play at the start of every new film and TV show it produces.

The new animation will debut in the upcoming Uncharted movie, which we reviewed here if you’re curious. The animation features characters from Uncharted, Horizon, The Last of Us, God of War, Ratchet & Clank, and LittleBigPlanet.

PlayStation Productions is a studio formed in 2019 by Sony Interactive Entertainment; its goal is to adapt its original game properties into film and/or TV in partnership with Sony Pictures.

The studio’s first major production is the new Uncharted movie, which stars Tom “Spider-Man” Holland and has a US$120 million budget. So far, the film made back US$21.5 million in its opening week, which is significant given how theatres are suffering worldwide thanks to the pandemic.
