World Of Warcraft 9.2 Patch Goes Live This February
World of Warcraft players have been waiting for the latest patch to go live, so it’s good to know that it’ll be happening in a week or so.
World of Warcraft’s 9.2 patch, Eternity’s End, will go live on 22 February. It’s the last big content update for WoW’s Shadowlands expansion and features a new zone called Zereth Mortis. The place is described as “an otherworldly location that defies all concepts of reality or physics”.
There’s also a new raid called Sepulchre of the First Ones, featuring 11 new bosses including Anduin Wrynn and Zovaal the Jailer at the end. You’ll be allied with a new faction called the Enlightened who grants players the ability to equip two legendary items simultaneously. The 9.2 patch will also see the end of Shadowlands PvP Season 2 and Mythic+ season 2.
In related news, the upcoming 9.2.5 patch will allow humans and orcs to fight together in raids and dungeons, essentially breaking down the key hook that made WoW unique from other MMOs then and now. Good job, I guess?
