Apex Legends Mobile Launches In Malaysia & Selected Countries Next Week (Update)

(Updated on 8 March 2022):

Today marks the start of the Apex Legends Mobile limited regional launch. This regional launch is only happening in 10 select countries: Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina and Colombia.

This limited regional launch will help the dev teams at Respawn and Lightspeed test the matchmaking and progression systems, backend infrastructure and in-game commerce, as well as the regional live operations capabilities. In this limited regional launch, players will be able to play Battle Royale on the classic World’s Edge map.

They can also test their mettle in three exciting game modes, Team Deathmatch, Mini Battle Royale, 3v3 Arenas, and compete in Ranked Battle Royale matches.

It’s worth pointing out that while player progression will reset once the limited regional launch concludes, players will be able to complete limited-time challenges and earn limited, unique rewards like badges, weapon charms and a beta banner frame, which can be taken into the worldwide launch.

Players in participating countries can join the limited regional launch by downloading the game from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Moreover, players can join the official Apex Legends Mobile Singapore and Malaysia Discord server where they can get the latest updates, local events, and be part of the Apex Legends Mobile community.

EA and Respawn Entertainment have announced that Apex Legends Mobile will have a limited regional launch in selected countries starting from next week. From 28 February 2022, Apex Legends Mobile will be available on Android and iOS in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, and Colombia.

During the limited regional launch, players will be able to take part in a select number of exciting systems and features available for testing. Players will be able to play as Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Wraith, Bangalore, Octane, Mirage, Pathfinder, and Caustic.

In the upcoming limited regional launch test, the game will be available on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Apex Legends Mobile was originally announced back in 2019. Respawn Entertainment will be sharing updates on the eventual global launch once they’ve had more data from the limited regional launch.
