Final Fantasy VI is arguably the best JRPG of all time, and it’s getting a pixel remaster and an enhanced key scene in the game.
FFVI’s famous opera scene, which is plot-relevant and bolster the roles of two key characters (Celes and Locke), will be updated for the Final Fantasy VI remaster and features new graphics and vocals. The latter bit will have seven languages:
- English
- French
- Italian
- German
- Spanish
- Japanese
- Korean
Sounds pretty epic, especially if you loved this particular key moment in the game and wish to hear it with actual singing voices instead of SNES muffles. The FFVI Pixel Remaster will be out for PC (Steam), iOS, and Android on 23 February.
