Halo Infinite Tactical Ops Event Brings New Challenges & Cosmetics
The next free event in Halo Infinite has arrived, and it’s the Halo Infinite Tactical Ops event. According to the blog post, it begins on 8 March 2022 and concludes on 22 March 2022 at 10 am PT.
You’ll be experiencing some classic Tactical Slayer gameplay (BRs, no radar, no shields, no grenades), but there will be extra surprise mode variants to mix things up a bit.
- Tactical Slayer
- Tactical Slayer Commandos
- Tactical Slayer Sidekicks
- Tactical Slayer Stalker Rifles
- Tactical Slayer Manglers
In week one, your Tactical Slayer experience will feature the BR, Mangler, and Sidekick variants; in week two, Commando and Stalker Rifles will be added to the playlist lineup. Complete event challenges and unlock up to ten unique cosmetics for your Spartan, including the Mark V ZETA helmet for your Mark VII core. This new take on a beloved classic helmet is not to be missed, and it comes with a variety of other tactical gear. Additional event-themed items will be available in the Store.
It will be a while yet before Halo Infinite Season 2 arrives sometime in May 2022, so it’s good to see that the developer is continuing to make updates to the game in the meantime. In the meantime, check out our review of the Halo Infinite multiplayer by heading over here.
