[Rumour] A God Of War TV Series Is Coming To Amazon Prime

It looks like God Of War is getting a TV series. According to a report from Deadline, the God Of War TV series is coming to Amazon Prime. It will be developed by The Expanse creators/executive producers Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby, as well as The Wheel Of Time executive producer/showrunner Rafe Judkins, Sony Pictures Television and PlayStation Productions.

However, besides that, there are currently no other details. Both Sony and Amazon have yet to confirm or deny Deadline’s report at the time of writing, so we’ll have to take this with a grain of salt for now. If the report is true, God Of War won’t be the first PlayStation IP to be getting a TV series or movie. A live-action The Last Of Us TV series is currently in the works at HBO and a Twisted Metal series is in development as well.

Meanwhile, the sequel to 2018’s God Of War, God Of War Ragnarok, is slated to release for the PS4 and PS5 sometime in 2022.
