S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Developers Putting Game On Hold To Help Ukraine

GSC Game World, the Ukraine-based makers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, is putting the development of its upcoming game on hold to deal with the ongoing Russian invasion of its home country Ukraine.

According to a recent video on their YouTube channel, the company and its families are affected by the war. They will be helping their employees and families to survive.

“The game development shifted to the sidelines. But we will definitely continue. After the victory. Glory to Ukraine.”

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has affected the games industry. Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister has called on Xbox and PlayStation to temporarily end support in Russia and Belarus. EA has removed all Russian teams from its sports games like FIFA 22.
