The Free Fire MCP Majors Season 3 Grand Finals Is Happening Next Week

12 Free Fire esports teams across Malaysia, Cambodia and the Philippines (MCP) have emerged at the top after four weeks of stiff competition between pro players, old and new. Free Fire esports fans all across the MCP region can look forward to aseries of exciting battles as the Grand Finals of MCP Majors Season 3 (MCP Majors S3) draws near.

The Grand Finals will take place on 16 April 2022, where 12 teams will duke it out in the afternoon at 1 pm GMT+8 instead of the usual evening time slot to accommodate those observing Ramadan. Following the tournament tradition, the champion of the MCP Majors S3 will have the opportunity to fight alongside their international counterparts in the globally anticipated Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2022 Sentosa in May, held in Singapore. Season 3 in particular will also award this prestige to the first runner-up team, giving a total of two team representatives from the MCP region the glory to stand on the global stage.

Free Fire players and esports enthusiasts alike can root for their local teams and win prizes by tuning in to the Grand Finals, which will be live streamed on Free Fire Philippines’s official Facebook and YouTube.

Leading up to the Grand Finals is a special three-part variety show series, dubbed the “Free Fire Games”, featuring a familiar face – the lovable Mr. Waggor! The MCP-exclusive series will see the Free Fire Challengers Series Malaysia (FFCM) champions, Todak, competing against each other and Free Fire’s iconic mascot for points. The premiere of the first episode is scheduled for release on 11 April 2022.

Each episode will also represent a peak concurrent view (PCV) tier, which Philippines Survivors can vote for using reactions on Philippines Official Facebook Page. The prize with the most votes for each tier will then be made available if the PCV hits the corresponding view counts.

With the full list of prizes remaining a mystery until the Grand Finals, Survivors can anticipate a week full of exciting news as their favourite Free Fire esports players battle it out towards their road to redemption.

Free Fire can be downloaded on both the Apple iOS App and Google Play.
