The Second New Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki Game Will Be Out This September In Japan

Good news for JRPG fans: the second installment of The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki series will be ready on 29th September for PS5 and PS4. The bad news? It’s the Japanese version.

The latest issue of Famitsu confirmed the return of the series’ characters Swin Abel and Nadia Rayne, along with new areas and story progression details. The game’s story progresses through chapters with main character Van and his allies acting separately for each chapter. You can even choose between two chapters in the same timeline for replay value. The game will also feature third-person shooter perspective missions with quicktime inputs as well as stealth missions to mix thing up from the turn-based combat that’s forefront.

There will be more information about the sequel later on 9th June on Dengeki Online’s YouTube stream of the game.

In related news, there hasn’t been any word on an English version of the first The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki game. We’re guessing Falcom needs to release The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero first before committing to a brand-new The Legend of Heroes installment.
