It’s been a long time since Ubisoft gave us an update on the Ubisoft Singapore-developed naval pirate game, Skull & Bones. However, a new report have allegedly revealed the supposed release date for the game, which is in line with another report from earlier this year.
According to industry insider and leaker Aggiornamenti Lumia on Twitter, Skull & Bones will allegedly launch on 8 November 2022. There will also reportedly be pre-order bonuses and the like, including missions, a digital soundtrack and an artbook.
Skull & Bones announcement is imminent. Xbox Store listings are ready, some examples:
1) SKULL AND BONES™ PRE-ORDER BONUS
2) Bloody Bones' Legacy Mission
3) The Ashen Corsair Mission
4) Smuggler Pass Token
5) Digital Soundtrack and Artbook
6) Premium Bonus Pack

Perhaps Ubisoft will announce the official release date for Skull & Bones during Gamescom 2022, which will run from 24 August to 29 August 2022.
Probably not. A Kotaku writer named Ethan Gach said that the game was originally aimed at early summer, but pushed for September, then to November. The game was supposed to be in a closed testing period in June, but was cancelled due to the state of the game. However, Skull & Bones need to be released this November due to Ubisoft Singapore’s existing government subsidy agreement with the country. It’s either this or Ubisoft Singapore shuts down; easy as that.
Was originally aiming for early summer. Pushed to September. Now November.
Was told there was supposed to be closed test this month but was cancelled due to the state of the build.
It's coming either way tho due to existing government subsidy agreement https://t.co/RklKqNTlRh
