Disney Dreamlight Valley May Be That Magic Kingdom-Themed Sim Everybody Secretly Wants To Play
Disney and Gameloft has released a new gameplay overview trailer of its life sim game Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Basically, it’s Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, and Harvest Moon (the good versions) crossbred with Disney stuff to form one Magic Kingdom-savvy world and playground. You play a brand-new original character as you interact with Disney characters like Belle from Beauty and the Beast, to Moana, fix their homesteads, and then build your dream home/garden/plantation to chillax and have leisurely fun in.
If you’re getting a Kingdom Hearts vibe from this game, I don’t blame you. Each scenario in a new area plays out like a Kingdom Hearts game: you help restore lost memories of popular Disney characters, then reap the rewards via stuff to decorate your new home/garden/villa in. Hell, even the questing system is akin to a JRPG!
Disney Dreamlight Valley will be out on 6th September in Early Access for PC.
