Dungeons & Dragons Honor Among Thieves Gets Epic First Trailer

During San Diego Comic-Con 2022, Paramount Pictures unveiled the first official trailer for Dungeons & Dragons Honor Among Thieves.

The movie is based on the popular tabletop role-playing game that allows players to create their own wizards, fighters, monks and other heroes on an adventure. it stars Chris Pine, Regé Jean-Page, Hugh Grant, Michelle Rodriguez and Sophia Lillis.

Chris Pine plays a bard, Regé Jean-Page plays a paladin, Michelle Rodriguez plays a barbarian, Sophia Lillis plays a Tefling Druid and Hugh Grant plays a rogue.

The show is directed by Jonathan Goldstein & John Francis Daley, while the screenplay is by Jonathan Goldstein & John Francis Daley and Michael Gilio. Clearly you can tell that the people writing the show know their tabletop gaming and dungeon-mastering.

The synopsis reads:

A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary roleplaying game to the big screen in a hilarious and action-packed adventure.
