Resident Evil Village is getting new DLC this October, and the latest Gold Edition trailer showcases the playable characters in Mercenaries Mode.

Why should you care? Because you not only get to play as the gun-totting Chris Redfield and the magnet powered Heisenberg, but you get to play with as Lady Dimitrescu for the first time. You get to use her long-ass claws, big body and presumably big health bar, and her flamethrower-laced cigar holder to your advantage. When you get her Thrill Gauge filled up from killing enemies, she can move fast and summon her daughters as additional partners.

And yes, she throws the chair as one of her attacks. Blink and you’ll miss it. Check out the rest of the bloodbath and action below, featuring Chris Redfield with all the guns in the game and Heisenberg’s telling people it’s hammer time.

It’s not all mindless action, kinda. Chris Redfield can go into Onslaught Mode which makes him move faster, reload quicker, and deal more damage. Assuming he kills enough enemies first to fill up the bar, of course.

Heisenberg not only has a large electrified hammer, but can drag enemies close to him with his Magnetic Field ability, as well as summon a Soldat Jet that is a makeshift rocket launcher. This sounds like a perfect excuse to replay Resident Evil Village, especially with the third-person mode and the Rose Winters extra storyline.
