A New Mafia Game Is Coming; Just A Few Years Away

The developers from Hangar 13 (via 2K Games) has confirmed that it’s working on a new Mafia game.

The official announcement is from an interview to celebrate the 20th birthday of the franchise via Hangar 13 general manager Roman Hladik.

“I’m happy to confirm we’ve started work on an all-new Mafia project! While it’s a few years away and we can’t share anything more right now, we’re really excited to keep working on this beloved franchise and to entertain our players with new stories.”

The action-adventure game sequel is said to be a prequel according to rumours from various outlets. The last Mafia game that came out was a remake of the original 2002 game; it was met with high praise from critics all over the world.
