Gory Chainsaw Man Trailer Reveals October Premiere Date

MAPPA has announced an October 2022 release window for the upcoming anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man in a brand new trailer.
The new trailer also revealed the main cast members, which include Tomori Kusunoki as Makima, Kikunosuke Toya as Denji, Shogo Sakata as Aki, and Fairouz Ai as Power. Crunchyroll previously confirmed that they will simulcast the Chainsaw Man anime.
The ongoing Chainsaw Man manga originally debuted in 2018, which is written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto.
The staff for the anime includes Ryuu Nakayama (Gamers! opening director and storyboarder et al., Macross Delta main animator, The Ryuo’s Work Is Never Done! opening director and storyboarder, etc.) as director, Kazutaka Sugiyama (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation) as character designer, Tatsuya Yoshihara (Black Clover director) as action director, and Hiroshi Seko (Attack on Titan: The Final Season series composer) as scriptwriter, Makoto Nakazono (A3! assistant director) as chief episode director, Kiyotaka Oshiyama (Deca-Dence cyborg designer, DEVILMAN crybaby devil designer) as devil designer, Yusuke Takeda (Vivy -Fluorite Eye’s Song-) as art director, Naomi Nakano (Kemono Jihen) as color designer, Youhei Miyahara (Fate/Grand Order – Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia technical director) as screen designer, and Kensuke Ushio (Japan Sinks: 2020) as music composer.
