Obscure 1996 Arcade Game Osman ComingTo Nintendo Switch & PS4 [Update]
Remember the 1989 classic Capcom action game Strider? Well, there was a spiritual successor to that game in 1996 from the same game director (Kouichi Yotsui) who jumped ship to Mitchell Corporation. That successor was called Osman (Cannon Dancer in Japan), and it was a heckuva platformer, set in a cyberpunk Arabian setting and had a martial artist who fought fist and foot against all manners of insane enemies.
After languishing in obscurity for so long, the 1996 arcade side-scrolling action game will be released on new platforms for the very first time via news on Konami’s Tokyo Game Show 2022 showcase. ININ Games will be porting the game onto Nintendo Switch and PS4 for 2023. Check out the new trailer below.
