Sega just released new gameplay footage of Sonic Frontiers, detailing the open-world environment and the place Sonic the Hedgehog is stuck on.
Apparently, he’s trapped on an ancient island with unusual creatures, though at least he can still speed across the island in high-velocity, open-zone platforming goodness. Hopefully, this 3D Sonic plus open-world sandbox freedom-filled gameplay is the kickstart the franchise needs so that it’s at least as successful as his movie career.
