Ubisoft Will Reportedly Reveal Several Assassin’s Creed Games This Weekend
After Assassin’s Creed Mirage was leaked last week, Ubisoft officially announced the upcoming Ubisoft Forward live stream, which will take place on Sunday, 11 September 2022, at 3.00 am GMT+8. However, according to a new report from Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, Ubisoft will allegedly announce more than one Assassin’s Creed game during the presentation.
Jason reported that Ubisoft will announce several new games in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. These apparently include the first major game, which is code-named Red, developed by Ubisoft’s Quebec City office, and is set in Japan. The second major game, code-named Neo or Hexe, is developed by Ubisoft’s Montreal office and set during the latter stages of the Holy Roman Empire, as well as revolves around the infamous witch trials of the period.
In addition, the report also claims that both Red and Neo are part of Assassin’s Creed Infinity, the previously-announced platform for future games in the series that will feature multiple titles and settings. Last but not least, the report also claims that the two games will not be released until at least 2024.
We’ll have to wait until this weekend to discover if the rumours are indeed true.
