Velaster Is A New Metroidvania Side-Scroller From An Indie With Only Four People

Velaster is a new 2.5D side-scrolling Metroidvania action combat game from South Korean indie developer Engineer, an indie studio consisting of only four people. The game is powered using the Unity HDRP Engine.

In Velaster, there will be three characters or classes to choose from, each of which has different attack methods, skills, and combos. They include Knights who use swords and shields, Dual Swords who use twin swords with acrobatic movements, and Hammers who wields a heavy hammer.

In addition, the game features lots of difficult bosses for players to defeat. The game is set in a place called Middle-earth or Malum, where angels, demons, and humans co-exist.

Velaster is slated to launch for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The demo is currently available to download and play on Steam. You can also support the game on its official Kickstarter page, which recently launched.
