F-Zero & Starfox Artist Is Making A New Text Adventure Game
Takaya Imamura is a name known by Nintendo gaming veterans. He’s the lead artist behind the Star Fox and F-Zero series of games, two franchises kinda forgotten by the Big N. And now, he’s debuting a brand new game as an independent developer.
Takaya Imamura left Nintendo last year after three decades of working there; he recently announced a video game adaptation of his debut manga called Omega 6. According to Japanese game site 4gamer, the Omega 6 video game will be a simple text adventure title, which includes battle scenes you can play out.
What’s Omega 6 about? It follows the story of Thunder and Kaira, bounty hunters who travel through space in search of a new planet to replace Earth. The game will feature an original story based on the manga. Look forward to this old-school title from Japanese studio Happy meal that’s slated for a 2023 release for Nintendo Switch.
