We Now Know The Plot Of The New Fire Emblem Game Next Year
By Jonathan Toyad|November 16, 2022|0 Comment
Nintendo just published a new story trailer for its upcoming strategy RPG title Fire Emblem Engage, the next mothership title from developer Intelligent Systems.
The game’s plot involves four kingdoms, a hero dubbed as the Divine Dragon, and heroes crossing over from other Fire Emblem titles using the Emblem Rings. Yes, you can summon past FE heroes like Marth (the first FE) and Celica (FE Gaiden) to work alongside you and your new party filled with waifus and husbandos you can marry. Heck, there’s a good indicator that you can marry the past FE heroes and possibly disrupt the entire FE canon, if there’s even any consistent thread of that in the first place.
Check out the trailers and new game descriptions below. Fire Emblem Engage will be out for Nintendo Switch on 20th January 2023.
Story
In a war against the Fell Dragon, four kingdoms worked together with heroes from other worlds to seal away this great evil. One-thousand years later, this seal has weakened and the Fell Dragon is about to reawaken. As a Divine Dragon, use rich strategies and robust customization to meet your destiny—to collect Emblem Rings and bring peace back to the Continent of Elyos.
Team Up With Iconic Heroes!
Summon valiant heroes like Marth and Celica with the power of Emblem Rings and add their power to yours in this brand-new Fire Emblem story. Aside from merging appearances, Engaging lets you inherit weapons, skills, and more from these battle-tested legends. The turn-based, tactical battle system returns with a fresh cast of characters you can customize and Engage to carefully craft your strategy.
