Here’s What We Saw In The Indiana Jones 5 Trailer

Courtesy of Disney+ Hotstar, we attended the Disney Content Showcase APAC 2022. One of the highlights was catching an exclusive screening of the first trailer for the upcoming Indiana Jones 5.

The trailer showed John Rhys-Davis’ Sallah recruiting Harrison Ford’s Indiana Jones for another mission. We also catch a glimpse of a younger Indiana Jones (a de-aged Harrison Ford) during flashbacks. The trailer ends with a fan-pleasing scene featuring Indiana using his iconic whip against a bunch of gun-toting individuals.

It’s a homage to that classic Indiana Jones scene from 1981’s Raiders Of The Lost Ark (see below):

Indiana Jones 5 is mostly set in the 60s, during the space age race between the US and Russia.  We wish we could say more, but the trailer isn’t officially out for the public yet and we need to re-watch it to capture more details or easter eggs. It probably won’t be long now until that eventually happens.

Indiana Jones 5 is slated to premiere on 30 June 2023.
